Franchises like Stranger Things, Star Wars, and Marvel need to hire a team of people that are huge fans on their media and know it back, front, left, right, up and down.
They need to hire people that have hyper-fixations on their piece of media or the plot holes will just continue to grow, as we’ve been seeing them do so much recently.
Stranger Things? Mistakes and plot holes left and right. Within hours, devoted fans found nearly all of them. With a team of dedicated fans like this actually helping with the show, maybe this wouldn’t have happened.
Star Wars? Whatever happened in the sequels just didn’t make sense. There were moments that defied rules of canon set in place ages ago, and no one on the team noticed or cared.
We need the MatPats, the theorists and the nerds to help make sure that the makers of these franchises actually know what they are doing
screenshotted these images on my 11th rewatch for someone smarter than me to understand it maybe on the inter webs🤞☹️
Saw some people mention this on my joke post that theories have gone to shit. Which yeah I basically just came with theories that are genuinely batshit insane but some people made things similar to them and might even believe em. Like we as a community owe MikeTrap an apology.
The Roaring Knight’s laugh sound kinda reminds me of the sounds the amalgamates made in Undertale. Don’t know if that means anything

Another message for all the gravity falls theorists: don’t forget to take breaks every now and then, from decoding the book of bill. There are hundreds of secrets hiding within that book, it’s probably going to take us a couple of months if not years to fully find and decode all of it. Please don’t give yourself burnout!
Dual Insanity in-Mortality: A theory of death and mortality.
Why must humans die?
Thank you for asking and great question, I have a theory!
Well us humans die many times before we truly die. We don't only just die and become reborn as new people - we die and we're dead for a while, basically the living dead. Some of us even describe it as "living in the pits of hell"
Others say "once you go down you can only go up"
Or "what goes up must come down"
I completely agree with all of these statements, they’re all true because they’re all very real and exist in the realm of possibilities for everyone.
If we were immortal and we had to live the way we do forever, how many living deaths do you think we would have before we decided to remain dead forever? Not psychologically, physically. Stay with me now…. Because, why are we struggling out of hell just to be back? Over and over and again. Who wants that forever….? I don’t think anybody would - even the embodiments of absolute greed themselves wouldn’t. When you think about it - Living forever would be a hell of its own more so than it would be heaven.
I mean there would be the best part. When we get to recreate ourselves - we get to customise, direct and influence our characters and experiences in every aspect we desire (on a side note, now that I think about it - corruption would likely be much worse if we were immortal).
Nevertheless it all requires effort, all of it. To live alive and to live dead. Living dead requires you be miserable and refrain yourself from going worthlessly insane - which you will, because you won’t have enough effort to stay afloat. When you’re dead alive - how much motivation will you have and for what? Not much to minus.
To live alive requires you keep going and refrain yourself from going overwhelmingly insane - which you will. Simply because you're forcing the effort - it is simple, but it’s not easy. How epically insane must you be to pull this off?
Very.
The irony of effort is that - mortality is an incentive to actually put effort. If we applied this in the case of immortality, this would mean that we’d most likely be living dead most of the time - unless there was some form of balance in that world, which in this case I suppose we’re yet to perceive - what do you think?
There are two different types of insanity’s. There is the chaotic anxious insanity - which is the embodiment of directionless with no clear intent. That is the state of living dead and it’s heavy. In this case mortality prevents endless psychological suffering and it does not guarantee Coherent insanity - if anything it just perpetuates itself - the main reason it cycles and keeps spiralling is because it lacks coherence, which is why it repeats (chances to understand itself).
It can be the catalyst of Coherent insanity if perceived and applied accordingly.
There is the Coherent ambitious insanity - which is the embodiment of containing extreme sanity. Containing it literally and practically.
That is the state of living alive and it’s intense. In this case mortality prevents psychological exhaustion which can manifest into living dead. In the wrong conditions, Coherent insanity can also be the catalyst of Chaotic insanity - the main condition for the most part would be a lack of expression, leading to a sense of feeling lost (lacking coherence) which leads to feeling chaotic which adds anxiety and so forth.
Perhaps we die so we do not become oblivious to the obvious to a point of no return.
Or we die so we can once again become oblivious to the obvious just so we can figure it out all over again.
Well that's my theory!
Why do you think humans must die?
How many internal deaths would you have before you became numb to all forms of insanity? Or before you had enough of the whole of it?
This theory is named: Dual Insanity in-Mortality - what do you think it would be called if we had immortality?
