one difference about bart and wally that's really interesting to me is how they deal with popularity. wally can hang out in the 64th century for days loving the attention and worship, constant praise, they're building statues in his honor, everyone adopting a new way of life because of him, before he gets bored (and lwk creeped out). meanwhile barts chewing on his split ends and hiding under his bed the second his face shows up in the local paper and paparazzi come to his door
