"What the...Is the circus picking up kids left and right now?" He had noticed the little boy as he stepped aside but the other had stopped. "Damn kid. Who roughed you up. You okay?"
From where Örjan was sitting crosslegged on the ground, he frowned up at the other, then looked away with a huff, rubbing the back of his hand against his nose. “No one,” he grumbled. “’m fine.”
Quite surprisingly, he hadn’t gotten in trouble, even if he enjoyed antagonizing the ringmaster. He’d actually gotten into a fight with some other boy who was just visiting the circus. Örjan didn’t have much to do yet in terms of performing, so he’d simply been running about during shows, pulling pranks and causing a general ruckus. One older boy, perhaps around eleven or twelve, hadn’t taken too kindly to it, and so, Örjan had gotten into a fight.
