Early Worm Gets the Bird
It was day time, and if they didn’t have a show, Gillian was not usually out at this time. Recently though, he could be seen wandering around during the day. It was a bit of an odd thing to see though, as Gillian had an odd wardrobe for bright sunny days such as these. If it was a nice day out, you wouldn’t expect to seem someone in long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, gloves, and a wide sunhat. Unless maybe they were gardening. Which Gillian was not. If you have seen Gillian during the day though, this might have become a normal thing though. What was really strange about the sight, was that recently there was the addition of a crow. Sometimes it sat on Gillian’s shoulder, and other times on his head. It seemed that Gillian walked around during the day, for the sole reason that now there was a bird. He’d walk around, placing seeds and pieces of bread on the brim of his hat, while the bird pecked at it from the top of his head. It had taken him a while to gain this crows trust for course, but now the crow seemed to always be around Gillian, even when he wasn’t feeding it. It stuck around his tent, following the circus from place to place, watching everyone who went near it.
