"Balibran like to perch atop high places like boulders, trees, or parts of buildings. They will snag items from passerby people and Pokemon and weigh the two, keeping the heavier one for itself and returning the lighter item to its owner. Their brass bodies are immune to any attempts to topple them in any way but their scale-like arms."

Evolves into Scalibra after defeating a Pokemon of the exact same weight

Scalibra Soul Weight Pokemon Steel/Ghost Justice Scales (new ability that that causes the user's attacks to do physical or special damage, depending on which will do more damage)

"Scalibra's disjointed body parts allow it to pose in any myriad strange ways and still use its arms as an accurate scale. It will often appear in areas frequented by people and Pokemon and offer its scales to be used by passersby. It's said whoever places the item that tips the scales past a certain point will have a horrible curse placed upon them, and whoever can balance them perfectly will be granted good luck and safety for the rest of their lives."

I just HAD to do a convergent Burmy. Caddisflies are aquatic until they take flight as mature adults (no Mothim equivalent, sorry! Couldn't make the design interesting visually) but that's not really an option in much of the Sorona region, so Caddisand reside in the dunes and scrublands.

Caddisand > Female, lvl up holding Big Nugget > Caddischmooze

Caddisand > Female, lvl up holding Never-Melt Ice > Caddicicle

Caddisand > Female, lvl up holding Hard Stone > Caddastle

New abilities!

Gold Digger: This Pokemon's attacks deal increased damage if its held item is worth more than the opponent's held item. Fails if the opponent is not holding an item. Outside of battle, this Pokemon will occasionally pick up valuable items if not already holding an item.

Ice Queen: This Pokemon can only target or be the target of the Pokemon directly across from them in Double or Triple battles.
