اليوم قد حطمت شركة Fixstars الرائدة فى مجال تصنيع حلول التخزين الرقم القياسى فى تصنيع قرص الحالة الصلبة الأكبر سعة بحجم 13 تيرابايت !، وهذه المساحة أكبر من أكبر قرص ميكانيكى فى السعة والتى قد قامت شركة Seagate فى الإعلان عنه هذا الشهر بحجم 10TB وهذه أول مرة نرى فيها تكنولوجيا أقراص الحالة الصلبة ترتفع حتى تصبح المساحة أكبر من الأقراص الميكانيكية.
