#fist hell

Game #33 is Fist Hell, a Streets of Rage-like beat em up against zombies that has a really good name.

As it says here, the requirement to earn a furniture piece is to survive 9 waves in the gym. That sounds simple enough.

...But where's the gym?

I couldn't find it on the first stage. In fact, I can barely even clear the first stage because this is UFO 50, a game that feasts on human blood.

Sometimes I get to see the start of the second stage. Pictured: me getting clotheslined by this fucking guy.

The gym must be somewhere past here, but why'd they make getting there so hard!? Most of the gift unlocks are placed in accessible areas, or at least visible ones!

So I took a quick look at the UFO 50 Discord channel to see how far I'd have to go to reach the gym.

Here's how to get there:

Start the game and walk left.

And then of course I have to actually survive 9 waves. Naturally I made it to the ninth wave once - the furniture item is just barely out of reach.

And there are still nine others to go!!

This is what my progress looks like after 60 hours. The top row are the ten with furnitures unclaimed, for reasons such as:

They are lengthy RPGs (Grimstone, Valbrace, Divers)

They are stupidly difficult (Caramel Caramel, Rock On! Island, Divers)

They are simply bad games (Combatants, Kick Club, Divers)

Notice the gold disks at the bottom. Those are the ones I've actually beaten. Getting a furniture is like beating a game halfway.
