Is treating a fish for dropsy if they don't have it harmful? Please please interact I need to know ASAP!!!
I bought some male guppies and two of them have swollen bellies and slightly arched backs now, I've put them in a hospital tank and I tried fasting them for a couple days (and fed them a tiny bit of pea for constipation) and they haven't got any less bloated
The only thing I can think of is dropsy and I need to treat them but idk if it's dropsy 100% and also, if they could possibly be female? Is treating them for dropsy bad if they turn out to just be pregnant or fat and how do I know what it is?
Please please help me!!
