I HAVE TO KNOW is it the boy fish or the girl fish who were more anxious

it is the boy fish!  if you put too many baby fish in a tank and come back three months later when they've all made relatively concrete decisions about their gametes situation (they still switch sometimes after that...) it's always a soup of males.  useless!  very hard to make more baby fish using a tank of just males.

i got sucked into the paranoiac self-sufficiency delusion and now i want to survive on insects in a cave. i am not kidding, i contemplate this life path most days
