No #tourdefleece2018 for me this year BUT THIS HAPPENED!! Trevor, for our anniversary, gave me an adult sweaters quantity worth of yarn. This would be a first! . hello world i am currently knitting my very first sweater and i feel ALIVE! i'm following a series of blog posts by @karentempler titled "how to improvise a top-down sweater" which i highly highly recommend- after spending far too long scouring the internet for the perfect sweater pattern to match the vision in my head i finally found a way to make it up as i go and i am so thankful and excited!

I have been upping my crochet ante this quarantine season! . I just finished my first ever cardigan! It’s a blanket cardigan so it is very big and drape-y and will be perfect for fall nights. I found a pattern on Pinterest and then altered it because.... I can’t follow directions 😂😂 I used the Suzette stitch and a half double crochet stitch! The yarn is Red Heart in Café Latte! ❤️ . I have also finished a blanket I started years ago and made two others! Progress report. It's basically a short sleeved sweater at this point. It comes right to, or only just below, my actual waist. I'm trying to decide if I want to do the bottom ribbing now or take it a bit longer first. I'm envisioning something a bit more tunic length. What are your thoughts?
