Finished my first brioche project. Made a few mistakes, but they aren't as visible with this side out, so that's nice. Brioche decreases on dpns were definitely a struggle...

Absolutely silly that you can just knit different colors together and make things that look like other recognizable things. I am mad with power.
I'm adapting the Oakwood Knits Stardew Valley socks pattern into a musselburgh and it's working. Learned color work and duplicate stitch for this and I'm very excited about the new world of possibilities.
I broke my foot pretty badly about a month ago, so I've been doing a lot of knitting, but not a lot of posting of my knitting. So here's a bunch all at once.
Some socks with self striping yarn because I was curious. Two finished musselburghs (the one that looks grey is actually a gorgeous green and so soft and the multicolored one is massive because I didn't understand how to measure gauge the first time around) and my first color work project, which is a musselburgh from the Stardew Valley socks pattern which I'm still trying to figure out exactly what to do on the other half and also gotta duplicate stitch some clouds, which will also be new for me.
Latest finished socks were a Christmas gift for my mom.

Finally finished the socks for my dad. They look so different in different lighting. Hopefully they fit well enough.
These socks finally made it to their owner, so I can post them now. :)
I was looking for something over the weekend that I still haven’t found. I did find this very old wip though. It’s so old that I have no idea what I had in mind when I started it, but it’s now going to be a pullover. The yarn is 2 different unique Pure Merino Colour Burst colour ways, worked with a strand of unique Kid Silk Merino Colour Burst similar to the new range in the ColourSpun online shop. 🧶 🧶 🧶 #colourspun #knitaddict #knitallthethings #knitknitknit #knitspiration #knittinggeek #contemporaryknitting #handknitting #instaknitting #nevernotknitting #slowclothes #yarnshop #yarnshopping #southafricanyarn #onlineyarnstore #naturalyarn #merinowool #indieyarn #indiedyer #igknitters #earthfriendly #colourfulknitting #colorfulknitting #needlecraft (at Heidelburg, Gauteng, South Africa) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqGV0KnLDdg/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
