6 years ago today I saw something that has changed my life. This show means so much to me. 6 years on and 17 shows later I'm still fascinated and in love with it. Not a day goes by that I don't think about, hum or sing a tune from this show...thank you Phantom!

This is an amazingly fascinating list. Marvel's come a long way since "Iron Man," and it took them a very long time to get there too. Hurdles were jumped and choices were made, and in the dust of those choices were left MANY actors and directors. This list compiles most (if not all) of the actors and directors who were considered and/or tried out for roles in the MCU. Going over the list, you may notice some familiar names. Many actors who auditioned for a certain role would go on to play a different role in the MCU. For instance, Natalie Portman auditioned for Black Widow before going on to play Jane Foster. The whole list is great, but there are two on the list that are mind-blowing to me. 1. Will Smith advanced to the talking stages for the role of Captain America (and now he's playing Deadshot, another superhero who is white in the comics)! 2.
