        Morning of November 19, 2019. Tuesday.

        Dream #: 19,328-02. Reading time: 2 min 40 sec.

        Cognitive arousal with subliminal recognition of being in the dream state: I am at an unknown shopping mall in an unfamiliar location with my youngest son. I am sitting in an area near the public entrance with a view of the parking lot (liminal space). My son is sitting on the left of the glass doors from my viewpoint. To his right is an older man. I had been writing content from three recent dreams on three different pages of a notebook, my last dream supposedly featuring a monster. I am amazed I had been successful in summoning a monster (though I do not remember that supposed dream, only what I read). I copy some details with a pencil. At one point, I need to push harder and trace over incomplete letters to make them more readable (instinctual modulation of cognitive arousal).

        I sit in a different area for a short time. Other people are sitting close. I have a puzzle book I look through (A4 size). I first consider how interesting it might be and think there will be a variety of puzzles in it, but then see most of the pages have sparse fill-in puzzles, which disappoints me (as I know they will be boring and too easy).

        Wall mediation initiates. A truck drives close to the front doors and bumps into them, and the building shakes slightly. The older male is annoyed and surprised by the incompetence of the driver, who is presumably a maintenance worker, though I am aware I had instinctually brought about the event. I anticipate the process becoming more intrusive, and it does. The truck crashes into the outer wall a few more times. Eventually, part of the ceiling collapses, but impossibly, none of the glass breaks in the windows or doors. I decide to take my son out of the area, so we leave the mall.

        Cortical arousal: The next scene involves a bushfire approaching the rural area where we live (though it is fictitious as we live in a more developed suburb). I have a concern we will have to evacuate. The fire is only in one small area and narrow, almost cylindrical, but is high into the sky. The news claims it will not be here for weeks, but I consider it may only be a day or two. I instinctually decide to change the situation. The fire is now a set of sparks spraying into the sky as a part of a Christmas celebration.

        Dream state validation (with sleep personification) and dissolution: I find myself at our present home though the layout is very different. I had been wondering where some of our children are and ask Zsuzsanna. (My dream self still recalls the shopping mall situation at this point.) Our oldest son is supposedly still sleeping. She asks him if he wants something to eat. I go into the room, and instead of our oldest son, it is now our oldest daughter, with our youngest daughter sitting on the bed. She seems cheerful, but our oldest daughter is going through "organization failure," and I am concerned.

        I am going to assume "organization failure" is a reference to the lack of viable cognitive skills while in the dream state. Despite occurring throughout every sleep cycle, as sleep simulacra are literal, there are sometimes transpersonal dynamics. My dream of finding our oldest son sleeping in an oversized pizza box under his bed was shortly before he surprisingly got severe food poisoning from pizza in real life, and was in the hospital for a week.
