Pyro spent the entirety of his life being bullied, picked on, and Avid was the same. He was mocked and made fun of whenever he mentioned vampires. Both of them came to Oakhurst with blood on their hands. Yet, Pyro was turned unwillingly, he ran, and he screamed, while Avid was turned because he asked for it. Despite that, both of them never wanted to hurt anyone, but eventually gave in to the hunger and, most importantly, the power. To both of them, vampirism was a gift, it gave them the ability to finally feel respected, feared even, by others. Though, the two of them were seen unpredictable by others - a danger, beast-like. They were seen as worse whenever they indulged in vampirism. In the end, they were seen as almost a completely different person, a Monster, by their sires. Yet, they hated each other for the exact reasons for which they were alike. They were both betrayed by those they thought they could trust, for trying to do their best to prove themselves. At first, they seem different, yet they are so alike.
