One place that makes me happy: This one chair with really good springs at my neighbour’s house. Much to my sister’s dismay, every time I sit in that chair, I do this little bouncey side to side dance thing. It’s fun.
How many blankets do you sleep with: This one really thin one made of an old cotton sari in the summer, a normal thicker cotton one in the winter.
Favorite film: Girl, Interrupted.
What I’m wearing now: Beige shorts, green t shirt.

Last thing I said to a family member: "Your phone just rang.”
Favorite beverage: Kahwa. It’s this winter drink from Himachal Pradesh that’s basically an infusion of cinnamon, cardamom, star anise and saffron. It is heavenly.
Favorite food: Noodles/pasta in most incarnations. Homemade pasta. Maggi noodles. Top ramen noodles. This is literally my comfort food I kid you not. I have to limit the amount that I eat some weeks, because some weeks really suck. (can’t stand chopsuey though.)
Last film I saw in theaters: I really, honestly don’t know. It was probably (*dies on the inside*) Happy New Year.
Dream pet: A cat that requires very, very little of me. Like, food, water, snuggles. (not gonna happen, is it. well, they did say dream pet.)
Dream job: Published novelist + other job that gives me sufficient time to write.
