The Pink Robin (Petroica rodinogaster) is one of my favorite birds.
The Pink Robin is a tiny, round forest bird from southeastern Australia. The male is especially striking, with a charcoal-black head and back, a bright rose-pink breast, and a small white forehead spot. It lives in cool, damp forests and dense gullies, feeding mainly on insects and spiders.
