Willis Juniper (Frazil Ice)
This is Willis, Luna's father, and the one to hold the Frazil Ice before her. He was born into the Lin Kuei and grew up with Bi Han and Kuai Liang's father. Being the two most skilled students, the two were really close growing up. They were part of the same friend group (including Hydro's mother, Cyrax's father, and Sektor's father).
As a child his mother was very protective of him. One, because of his albinism she was worried of many of the health issues that could come about, and two, his father was not the kindest man and wasn't very nice to his own children. He was the oldest of three sons and after his mother passed took the brunt of his father's abuse for his two much younger brothers.
He was often goofing off a lot during training which caused a more stressed relationship between him and his father. His father often showed blatant favoritism to his two younger brothers. Due to his family issues Willis started taking longer and longer missions away from the clan. It was on one of these mission that he met a Scottish NCA agent who'd caught him and his clanmates red handed in the middle of a mission.
Him and his fellow Lin Kuei managed to get away, but the woman had caught Willis's interest. After about a year he got her to give him a chance and despite a short and distant dating period they married after only 6 months.
During the beginning of his marriage he had found out one of his younger brothers was killed during a training accident. Finding out his father was responsible for it was the last straw for him. Him and his friends took his father out and covered it up. They just framed it as his father had deserted the clan and no one questioned it. All five would take that secret to the grave.
After about 10 years of marriage and struggling to have any kids Fiona and Willis managed to have their one and only child, Luna. Willis did spoil her a bit and was a very proud father. Often bragging to anyone he could about his wife or his daughter
When Kuai Liang and Bi Han became old enough the Grandmaster entrusted their training to Willis, and Tomas as well after he was adopted. He was incredibly proud of all three and thought of them almost like his own sons, though Tomas was his favorite (not that he ever old any of them).
He was rather uneasy about Kuai Liang dating Luna when it first started since he had seen the kind of pressure Kuai Liang's mother had been under, and didn't want that kind of pressure on Luna at a young age. Still he didn't interfere and just hoped the two would make each other happy.
