It is important to make a commitment to yourself to finish your section or story. What you’re working on might just be practice, but practicing is how you get better. If you don’t finish your practice works, it will be that much harder to finish your final products.

For first time writers, it’s helpful to start with a short story or poem or one act play. Something that is easier to finish so you have an uplifting feeling that can propel your forward.
