#start small

I don't know how to answer this. I'm not sure I have all the proper background.

Here's what I've heard or learned:

1. This has been coming for decades because of poor government representatives

2. Parliament doesn't seem to care enough to show up at either their constituents turf or at their own meetings

3. Voter turnout is poor

4. Too much dependence on government, period

5. I've listened to some poorly turned out committee meetings in the UK. I don't know how the government gets anything done ever. There's so much protocol. Parliament doesn't have anything over the speed of a glacier.

6. I don't have any idea how to fix it other than scrub it clean and start over again from scratch. It's too confusing, to my American way of thinking. But I'm now more appreciative of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

7. Dang, you've got a lot of charities, foundations, places of good works for such a small population. At least it seems that way, so maybe that's a perception.

8. Maybe you need a lot more Douglas Murray's clamoring away to all and sundry.

9. You need a ton more Christine Andersons, that's for sure. And maybe that's a solution, more women in your government with a strong, educated mind.

10. I think y'all need to go back to your history books and rediscover what made Britian strong and a global force. 'Cause you aren't anymore. You were an Empire, you left marks still evident on many cultures and countries. Some good and some not good. But a solid history lesson wouldn't hurt.

11. Get rid of your media. They are even worse than what we have.

12. No one is going to take care of you but you. Not your government. Not your monarchy. Not another country. Not your neighbor.

13. You may be too old to do much, but your children and grandchildren aren't. Teach them. Give them history and perspective without telling them what to do. Speak of dreams, education, futures. Give them a fire and a reason to listen and do it without whining and complaining. Yes, I was that person in my family. Yes, it works.

It's about all I've got. Word of warning, history will teach you sometimes something has to break before you can fix it. Sometimes not.
