my brother burst into my room and said "my discover weekly has a song with a line about someone undergoing an eight hour back surgery do you want me to send it to you" and i said thats weirdly specific to me. sure. and saw it was by a band i know a different song by so i was like cool. just the one line like my brother said. but then i saw the song one down on the album is called "crooked spine" and i was like no.. is this.. is this literally about someone having a spinal fusion... and let me tell you i only got to the line "you had metal rods put in your back" before i was gut laughing alone in my room. anyways shoutout to the band covey for having multiple songs about spinal fusions for some reason
