The rustle of leaves had awoken Makoto from his slumber. The wolf sat up and rubbed his eyes, human-like paws rubbing at his eyes. He glanced over to his companion, a slightly smaller wolf that called himself Rin. Unlike most male wolves who fought over territory and mates, Makoto and his friend shared a mutual companionship where both parties benefited equally. Rin was fierce and was capable of defending the territory, whilst Makoto’s physical abilities deemed him most suitable for hunting.Â
There was more rustling, so the pair decided to follow the sound of the movements in hope of finding a filling meal. They crept towards the stream, both wolves from different directions to trap the prey.Â
A male with longer ears and a very fluffy tail was leaning over the running water, drinking his fill. With their intrinsic instincts taking over, Rin leapt from the thick bushes at the bunny to startle him, forcing him to run in Makoto’s direction. With a loud growl, he rushed forward and tackled his prey.Â
