Damn just finished The Dark Knight Trilogy last night and the last time I’ve been moved this much for a trilogy was during LOTR / The Hobbit, and now i think this trilogy was the best trilogy I have ever seen!! T^T it was so rich and intense from every second! i love that the movies from the franchise only gets better! all characters were utilized well and had proper air time enough for you to invest in them!!! 

Everything was already perfect for me except that Katie Holmes felt like a more suitable Rachel Dawes for me than Maggie. And that I hate that I didnt loathe Bane as much as I did with the 2 previous villains (most esp. Joker). It was as if he seemed less interesting to me who was just whining the entire time in his mask. Tho it felt like Tom Hardy did a good job since he had to rely with his body language and dat ‘voice’ alone to portray the character well but ugh it feels off to me. Like i’m still confused rn why is he even relevant lol 

another thing worth mentioning about the movie is the badass portrayal of women!!! T^T two important characters where one is an anti-hero and one is a villain! It felt so empowering seeing those two women being given enough air time and a ‘story’ for u to invest on them! good job nolan! they werent used just as a side-plot of the story, instead they were so essential for the film! 

AND OFC MY BALE HUHU HE ALWAYS DID A GOOD JOB OF BEING AS A BATMAN!! T^T i love that he didnt take up much time enough for him to be emphasized as the ‘main character’ or the ‘main superhero’. Nolan gave each and every character a proper light and it shows! Batman wasnt in the scene the entire time but it never felt like it was too less nor too much. It even complemented him (most esp for his comeback in the end!!!! T^T). The entire franchise was able to dig in properly to each and every characters and I loooove how they all got their own contribution to the overall goodness of the franchise.
