When you talk about finding a place to sleep for a very long time do you mean that we're still able to sleep on the astral? How do we do? And what is it like considering that the astral is ALREADY the dream plane...?
First, when I say āfinding a place to sleepā I mean that in any figurative and literal way possible. It means something along the lines of ānot be conscious of where you are, who you are, or what is going on.ā That can mean sleep as we do here on earth, or it can mean something else. Itās more metaphorical than literal.
That being said, regarding sleep on the astral, my experience has been āit depends.ā Certain entities seem to need sleep, others donāt. I have a menz that didnāt sleep for the first few years I knew him, but after a particularly grueling situation that dragged out over the better part of a year, he legit laid down and slept for the better part of 3 months. I assume that means that under normal circumstances he doesnāt need sleep, but perhaps for certain situations he might. I think it highlights that sleep can have different applications to different beings.Ā
Humans are beings with bodies that require sleep. There are other beings out there whose forms may not require sleep. So it really depends on the specifics.
I also donāt consider there to be a line btwn us and astral, not really. Usually when Iām saying āastralā with other people, Iām using it to mean āthings that we humans can not collectively experience or touchā, which is to say the less-physical parts of our existence. However, in my own worldview, the word āastralā is a false separation btwn āusā and everything else when really its more about what we can and canāt perceive. To me, the entire universe is āthe astral.ā And as such, I donāt really consider anything truly off limits for āthe astral.ā
For all I know, the places Iāve visited astrally exist somewhere and are just as physical as here and now. I just canāt experience them by physically traveling to them, I have to connect in a non-physical way. Yes, I do realize this could be completely false and I just have a good imagination. Thatās part of the catch 22 of doing anything astral related, tho.
I also donāt consider every dream to be āastralā in nature, which is to say that some dreams appear to be nothing but my own mind working through things, where other dreams feel like they have a āI am in a different placeā quality to them. So again, there is some grey area there.
But what Iām really trying to say (I think) is that I really donāt see there being any sort of āruleā that just because the ādream planeā is āon the astralā means that nothing else should be able to sleep or dream or what have you. Every other place Iāve been is so similar to here, and yet very different. In the same way that there are many species of beings here on earth, each of which has their own specific needs -- so too with beings on the astral. So many of them are so very similar to us humans, and yet each species is a little bit different.
And I view the whole matter of sleeping to be similar in nature. Some need it, some donāt. Some may only need it under certain circumstances. Some may travel to another place while asleep, some may stay in their own bodies. Some may dream, others may not -- who knows.
When you cast a wide enough net, I personally think there are no rules, and everything is within the realm of possibility.
Hence the old āwelcome to the astral, where the rules are made up and the points donāt matter.ā
