              ʜᴇ ꜰʟɪᴘꜱ ʜɪᴍ ᴏꜰꜰ with both hands before getting back to his gear on the table in front of him. his little speech cut short, he hasn't much to do other than get this show on the road--quite literally. he brought jordi here to show him the capabilities of the new and improved wrenchmobile, autonomous, sleek, and best of all: deathly explosive. he hits the button on his makeshift joystick and it's off, sparking fireworks from its exhaust pipes, getting all the jumps and turns until the brilliant finish line: a bang, a flash, and one of the most beautiful explosion of colors and light one could hope to see in the middle of san francisco.

            ᴄᴏɴꜰᴜꜱᴇᴅ ᴇxᴘʀᴇꜱꜱɪᴏɴ ᴛᴀᴋᴇꜱ ᴏᴠᴇʀ, jordi’s voice waking him up from an unprompted nap. he must’ve dozed off while jordi was in the middle of what wrench assumes is some boring, probably unimportant, monologue. he’s still a little dazed but he can kind of make out the words now.

          wrench’s mask blinks once again, twin question marks showing up on the LED. what the hell prompted this? it takes him a second to realize jordi’s being weirdly serious—something not common in the strange relationship they possess, and the question marks become an inappropriately cheerful emote. ❝ alright man, at least leave the sticky bombs behind! ❞
