is there any material about how other beastkin dress in the gladiator arenas? bc it would be hilarious if everyone else did wear defensive clothing and lycion was just supremely confident in his ability to win in a loincloth

The other ones we see from the fighting pits are pretty naked too so I guess its not unusual?

The fighting pits: Nobles force their slaves, (men, women, dwarfs, children, & animals kidnapped, sold, or bred in captivity) to fight each other to the death for the amusement of the upper classes. Daario was 12 when he first entered the arena. We saw Tyrion get captured and put in chains.

Do you not see how it's The Hunger Games? Men, women, children as young as 12, and animals fighting each other to the death for the amusement of the upper classes? You took the side of President Coin. You are in support of the Games continuing instead of supporting the Rebellion. You call the GoT equivalent of The Hunger Games part of Mereen's culture. And despite knowing 75% of the Mereeense population were slaves.

President elect Cthulhu once again took to Twitter today to lash out against Vending Monthly, which gave his frontdoor institution, the Burned Bridges Fighting Pits, an unfavorable review earlier this week.

The review read in part, "We had high hopes entering the Pits (or Pittes, the spelling was inconsistent across the signage, plus among those screaming its praises with bloody lips). Everything looked just right: the fires were blazing without being blinding, the clash of metal was just loud enough to draw us in, and the first onslaught of hellions we fought to earn the right to step inside was challenging without being overwhelming. That first impression, though, was the last positive experience of the afternoon. ... Perhaps most disappointing of all was the fabled Bloody Hand, longstanding champion of the president elect's unrighteous glare. Her fighting style was what can only be called a hodgepodge of various rural styles thrown together in an almost embarrassingly amateurish fashion. Our own screaming barbarian left the ring with her head after only two hours of combat, far less than what one would expect from New York's high-end fighting pits."
