UBE!!!!

I FUCKING LOVE UBE!!! (Pronounced "ooh-bae" for those that don’t know.)

Ube (purple yam) is the ONE dessert that I can’t say no to, whether it’s an ice cream, smoothie, or w/e I will never say no to ube.

I'm also not a huge fan of cake (the ones I’ve had were always too sweet for me), but ube cake with fucking macapuno filling (like a coconut buttercream type of thing) is my goddamn weakness.

SIDE NOTE:

If you’ve ever gotten those purple, taro smoothies before, they are not the same thing as ube/purple yam (I learned that recently). Even though they’re both roots, an Ube root is a vibrant purple color. A taro root is white until you boil it, and then it takes on a light purple kinda color, and also extremely poisonous when eaten raw.
