Tosh hasn't looked away from the screen since she started the program. It wasn't yet perfect and she really needed it to work tonight. And of course, because her day wasn't bad enough, Owen stands behind her, looks over her shoulder and with a mouth full of what she guesses is pizza, points out the obvious problem. Such a basic mistake too.

"Thank you, Owen," she tries to sound as grateful as she can because he has genuinely saved her hours of work, even if it's because she was focused on a much more complicated script.

But he winks at her and she has to roll her eyes because despite how long they've been working together she still feels a small fluttering in her stomach.

The house of the Blacks was seemingly an endless ocean of rooms and dark items. Maybe because it was so full of magic. Harry felt like no matter how long they looked through it, they’d never manage to clean it out. He wanted it to be safe for Teddy and Andromeda, but he didn’t even manage to cover that dreadful family tree. It magically refused to let any item stay in front and obstruct the view. Harry, Hermoine and Ron had taken shifts but Harry felt terrible for his friends. So he had told Hermione, jokingly, to just leave him here and save herself because the house was bound to swallow him up and depending on his current mood, he might even say thank you.

He smiled at her notion. “I need a shave and very strong tea before I can continue this madness. You want some tea too?” He got up and pressed his lips to the top of her head, so grateful that she spent her time with him, looking both through things Harry felt no connection to (and would get him arrested immediately were he not an Auror himself), and also things that had clearly belong to Sirius.

“You think?” Perhaps it was the fact that he had been ready to die that gave Harry a surge of courage he might not have had otherwise. Now that the war was over, anything else seemed so trivial. No challenge compared to this dread and panic Harry had felt, when he had realised that he could never be with Cedric and that his short life had to come to an end now and there. The thought that his sacrifice would ensure Cedric, along with the others who defied Voldemort so bravely, lived a good life had made it worth it. But Harry had not died, and he was armed with the experiences he had made when he had been alone with all the ghosts of his loved ones before his supposed final steps. Life was very very short.

“Well, I ‘know’ that I’m in love with you.” He was setting himself up for a possible rejection, but that too, was worth it. If it meant that he could tell Cedric how he felt, then it was more than worth it. Harry gave Cedric a big grin. “I didn’t listen to Potterwatch like a madman every day to hear your voice for fun, you know? Leaving you before I went on the run was one of the hardest things I ever had to do.”

Hermione had come to the Burrow for Christmas while she was finishing off her N.E.W.T.s, it was awfully nice of Mrs. Weasley to have let her stay during the holidays with her parents permission of course. She was quietly sat in one of the plush armchairs reading one of the books needed for one of her subjects. She didn't stop until she heard Ron walk into the room.

She missed him terribly, not only was he her best friend but they had become a 'thing' now. She made a note of her page before she put her full attention onto Ron. She gave him a smile as she listened to him, it was a bit cheesey to say but she didn't mind it. "And what would I see through your eyes Ron?" She asked him curiously.

Hermione had become antsy and on edge ever since she returned home from returning her parents memories of her. It was probably because now that she had done what she wanted to everything was starting to sink in. The hunt for the Horcruxes, Malfoy Manor, the war at Hogwarts the list could go on. But now she had time to process everything, it was all she could think about.

However, there was a wonderful constant and that was Harry. He went through so much but was able to process it quicker than she thought he would. When he spoke to her, she looked at him before silently nodding and laying down on the bed to sleep.
