why do i switch between 1st and 3rd person ?
this kind of depends on the context. i always refer to fanon rory as a separate person from me, because i am so wildly different from fanon that it just feels wrong.
in longer posts or feature lists, i usually use 3rd person, because it feels a lot more reader friendly.
when it comes down to fanon ships and headcanons, i use 3rd person so that people don't assume something applies to me when it might not.
remember ! i am still rory, even if i use 3rd person.
why don't i like feminine rory fan content ?
bodily, i am a trans man, so seeing myself depicted in a feminine way makes me pretty uncomfortable and at times dysphoric.
this includes nonbinary, genderfluid, transfem, and all other gender headcanons that aren't what i identify as. whether you depict me as masc nonbinary or hyper fem or totally neutral, all of those are misgendering me. in source i am a cis guy and use he / it pronouns.
why don't i mind sexual fan content ?
once again, this one depends on the context. both in my source and in canon, i am—to put it plainly—fairly sexual.
if you're making sexual content that is out of character, that's when it starts to bother me.
any 'bottom rory' content in any sense ( implied, mentioned, explicit, etc ) bothers me heavily both due to personal preference and trauma. if you support, read, write, draw, edit, or make content in any way that is inherently 'bottom rory' please don't interact with me.
however, if it's in character / accurate, i don't really mind. which might piss some people off, but it's just where i stand boundary-wise.
i also don't really mind 'x reader' content or simps or whatever you want to call them as long as the depiction of me is accurate.
do i support anything problematic in my source ?
this sort of depends on what you view as problematic, but i don't condone any kind of abuse or harm.
just because i was involved in something in my source, does not mean that i condone it.
