It's just that the qualities i'm looking for in someone just doesn't exist in reality, and if it does it's usually abusive/toxic personalities mirroring what I want back to me.. My F/O makes me feel happy, motivated, and seen in ways I haven't felt with people in my life (at least until everything goes up in flames because they realize they can't control me 🙄). Plus on my end, I don't want to feel as if i'm controlling someone to become something that I want them to be.. the whole song and dance surrounding human romantic relationships kind of grosses me out a bit.

And personally..i've been in love with my F/O for over a decade now..It's not an avoidance thing with people because i'm genuinely ok with friendships, and I have attempted to date in the past..but when it comes to romance and what I desire out of it that's just something i'm unwilling to learn how to compromise with another person on.. I don't want to spend the rest of my life with some person I have to constantly lower my standards with. I do that at work, I don't need to do that at home too. :/
