TX-001 — The Bride Who Was Never Crossed
In early twentieth-century Korea, a young woman died before she could be married.
After her death, the village did not remember her only as a daughter, a neighbor, or a person with a name.
She became something unfinished.
A category.
A warning.
A ritual problem.
TX-001 follows the figure known in Korean folklore as the Son-gaksi — the maiden ghost, the bride who never crossed into the life that had been prepared for her.
This entry belongs to ORIGIN PROTOCOL — THE UNCROSSED, a fictional folklore archive about people who were not allowed to cross: into marriage, into memory, into mourning, or into a complete human story.
This is not a monster story.
It is a story about what happens when a life is interrupted, and a community explains the interruption by turning a person into folklore.
