The Rose situation actually comes from Mack and David not liking the name. At some point when she was younger, someone shortened her name to Rose and her parents were like ... "no." They hated it! So Rosie, in recognition of that, gets grumpy when she's addressed as Rose. "My name is Rosie."
David is the dream man and I'm so sorry that I can't pop him out of this story and make him real. Although if I could, Mack would need to be as well because who are they without each other now??
