Scientists have to do a whole bunch of obvious science studies showing the obvious just to prove to normal people what we non-normal people have always known, because that is the only way abled neurotypical average people will ever believe our lived experiences. In other news, water is wet. This is my I Am Done With You face.
Shaking bottles of poppy seeds isn't normal... but on ChronicPain™ it is
Worst Medication?
Let's play a game. I ask a question, y'all answer. What's the world's most vile-tasting medication?
Singing songs to my toilet buddy (Vinny), today's song is:
“I’m a little asshole, smol and cute. Here is my chompchomp and here is my snoot”

Now what?
I know I haver blogged in a while. That was for a few reasons. For starters, I just graduated with my undergraduate degree in communication sciences and disorders (in four years I might add). Every Spoonie knows finishing on time is just as much of a blessing as finishing at all. I also got accepted into a speech language pathology masters program and had to find housing for next year in three days. All that was completed with zero energy, a whole lot of coffee. And a whole lot of spunk! My thyroid levels came back too low this time around which, for a hypothyroid kid, is a rare occurrence. I'm still finding myself exhausted all the time, in a crazy amount of pain, and constantly sweating and passing out. To be honest, I'm scared for what's next. I feel like I'm running out of doctors to see and I don't know what answers I'm expected. So right now for me is a big waiting game despite the fact that life doesn't stop. I'm not going to let that discourage me. With a full time internship, going through a training program, and school in the fall I don't have time to stop. Here's to hoping for answers
I hate days like today....
I pushed myself too hard yesterday and now I'm paying for it. I'm in so much pain that even taking an extra Gabapentin (it's a med for nerve pain, which is what people with Fibromyalgia suffer from the most) isn't helping much.
Plus I slept 11 hours and that didn't seem to help either. Normally I sleep 10 hours a night. If I get any less than that, I'm non functional for the entire day.
le sigh.
