Good morning, everyone!

The FFXV Rare Pairs Zine will start sending out on October 29th, 2018! Remember, this is a PDF only zine, there are no physical copies. This is to assure 100% of all money made from this goes to the charities that we say they are. So, as I said in an earlier post, we are doing this a bit unconventional!

How can you get a zine?

All you have to do is to make a donation to that charity for $10.00 or more, and send us a copy of your receipt or screenshot of the completed donation! There are also charities for the EU fans who wish to support a charity that helps in Europe.

A donation of equal value (roughly) across the board would be: USA: 10$ UK: 8 £ EU: 9 €

Can you donate more if you want too? 

Of course, you can! But you must give at least the above amount to be eligible to get the zine! Right now we are basically in the preorder phase, and you'll start receiving your zine on the afternoon of October 29th. Now, this is the important part:

This Zine will only be available from today, October 21st until November 18th, 2018. All donations must be dated within that time. Anything after the 18th of November will not be valid.

What are the Charities?

US CHARITIES:

https://www.nami.org/ NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation's largest grassroots organization for people with mental illness and their families. Founded in 1979, NAMI has affiliates in every state and in more than 900 local communities across the country. NAMI recognizes that the key concepts of recovery, resiliency, and support are essential to improving the wellness and quality of life of all persons affected by mental illness. NAMI members and friends work to fulfill our mission by providing support, education, and advocacy. Our many activities include public education and information activities, peer education and support, raising awareness and fighting stigma, and state and federal advocacy.

https://www.bbrfoundation.org/ The Foundation funds the most innovative ideas in neuroscience and psychiatry to better understand the causes and develop new ways to treat brain and behavior disorders. These illnesses include addiction, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, autism, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder (BPD), depression, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia.

https://projectsanctuary.us/ Project Sanctuary is a therapeutic military family program that focuses on the needs, challenges, and concerns that our military families face every day. We work with veterans, active-duty service members, and their families with our exclusive three-part A.R.T. program, combining counseling, education, self-development, and recreational therapy to help build well-adjusted families. We assist the military service members by helping them heal from the effects of war, providing a safe place to heal, helping reconnect the family unit and treating all members of the family at their level of need—which enables the service member to reintegrate into their family and community successfully. Our programs focus on the entire family's mental health and well-being first as we take them through the steps towards creating a sustainable balanced and thriving family– and life.

Greetings! We have been working on a Rare Pair Zine for the last few months and it will be coming out soon. This zine will be in PDF format only. This is so 100% of the money will go towards charities that deal with mental illness such as depression and PTSD. That is right, 100%! No one who worked on this zine is making anything off of it. We did this because we believe these causes are important and deserve support.

She shivered and had to look away for a moment. She took a breath and reminded herself that time was over. A voice beside her startled her back to the present before she drifted too far into the past.

“Ready to go fishing?”

Aranea glanced over at Ignis, nearly forgetting he was here with her. He was fully dressed, even in this weather, and he was awkwardly holding both fishing poles in one hand. Aranea felt a familiar blush of embarrassment in her cheeks and quickly looked away again.

“That’s a good look on you,” he whispered as he closed the bedroom door behind him. 

She smirked over her shoulder and pushed the softening peppers and onions in the pan. “Couldn’t find my shirt. Didn’t want to wake any of you searching for it. You all looked so adorable. I’d have taken a picture if I could find my phone.”

Nyx came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her middle, kissing her neck. “That was quite the birthday.”

Monica turned away, cheeks prickling with heat at the sight of tanned skin and bright blue eyes focused on her. Now that she looked more attentively, the rest of the customers were mostly families, groups of friends wearing matching caps bearing the logo of the festival, and only a few men alone with beers. She was sticking out in the crowd, she couldn’t deny it.

She sipped her wine as casually as she could. She couldn’t pretend to have family here. Another approach was needed, then.

“Not cooking today?”

She’d never been to the beach before. She only ever saw beaches from afar, in pictures and in her imagination when Crowe talked about old memories. She never experienced the sands for herself, never wrote her name or built a sand castle in them. She never went up to the shoreline and let the tide wash over her feet. She never let the water rise to her knees or splashed about with reckless abandon.

The closest Luna ever got to the beach was by pressing souvenir shells against her ear to mimic the sound of ocean waves.

When Noctis is presented with his guard’s replacement, however, he’s caught between laughing and gasping in surprise.  

“Glaive Ulric?”  

And just like he remembers from all those years ago, Nyx salutes, bows, and comes up with a sly little grin. “Your Majesty.”

Noctis looks to Ignis at his right, confused. The Chamberlain just clears his throat and gives a little shrug of his shoulders. “He was the best candidate available, in every aspect.”

The slow creak of the door to their room reached his ears, followed by the smell of coffee, then the dip of the bed beside him. A strong, large hand brushed the hair from his face and trailed down his cheek. Loqi couldn’t help but lean into it. Curse his touch-starved self.

“Is that for me?” he asked into Cor’s palm, skipping the morning pleasantries altogether.

“Nope,” Cor smirked and tipped the mug of coffee towards him before taking a long sip from the plain white mug. Asshole. “Yours is on the table if you want it.”

“I figured I would find you here.” Ignis’ voice could be heard from behind her, she turned to face him and returned the smile that he wore. “I suppose our Lucian flowers are quite splendid, seeing as how you have really taken a liking to them.”

“I have very few memories of Lucis from my childhood so you can't exactly blame me, yes?” She said as he reached for her hand, lifting it to press to his lips. “I am so very lucky to be spending such a beautiful evening with you, Ignis.”

“You’re only upset you don’t get to sleep in. Though I must say I am a bit sorry to drop this on you so suddenly, but you know...Crowe likes to do the same. I must think on my toes,” Luna laughed as she set a mug in front of Noctis. He pouted but circled his hands around his cup, grateful for the warmth and the smell of something sweet- not bitter. Tea was a better way to start the day he guessed.

I am still working on putting this zine together, but I wanted to give an update!

I will post a list of charities that support the causes we have said we want to help. All you have to do is to make a donation to that charity for $10.00 or more, and send us a copy of your receipt! There are also charities in the EU for those who wish to support a charity that helps in Europe. A donation of equal value would be roughly
