here are my (correct) opinions about the serenity crew
Kaylee and Inara are trans gals
Simon and Wash are trans guys
Mal, Jayne and River are nb
Book is gay
Jayne is aro
everyone is bisexual unless stated otherwise
like. on the one hand there are so many problems with this show. on the other hand I'm so mad it got cancelled. cause they set up soooo much that would have been interesting to explore. granted I havent seen serenity yet so like. they might cover some of this but like obviously what the fuck is going on with book's backstory. when did Mal lose his faith. what's inara running from. what was the premise the alliance was founded on that they were fighting against in the first place. tell me more about Reavers!! I'm sure there are more things that come up later obviously. there could have been so much more
maybe I'll post about my firefly rewatch here instead of bombarding my pal about it. blacklist #ffrw if you don't care lmao

It's been a whirlwind couple of days! Our first two shows are done, and they keep getting better. We're getting in a rhythm now, and everything is getting smoother. Our typical schedule is:
9-12:00pm- Loading in all of our graphics into the DDR in the TV studio, overseeing the music segment, and making tweaks
1-2:30pm- Okaying our last package (Events) and finalizing the script and rundown with our Script and Production Supervisors
2:30-3:00pm- Printing our packages to tape (taking the digital copy and putting in on a DV tape to play back in studio). This can take a VERY long time if equipment isn't cooperating, which is often doesn't.
3:00-6:00pm- The crew comes, everyone goes over their positions, we rehearse the show and work our any kinks
6:00-6:30pm- We go up live on The Emerson Channel!
6:30pm-7:00pm- Cleaning up the studio
7:00-12:30am- Prep for the next day's show.
And then we get up and do it all again!
The interesting thing about Fast Forward Rewind is that the crew rotates every day, so every show is like a pilot. In a normal semester-long show, our crew has time to get into a rhythm and get comfortable with each other. But when every position rotates except for the producing staff, it's more difficult to build trust in a matter of 3 hours. That being said, our crew has been fantastic and we've had some pretty tight shows. We are really excited for the next three shows, and also completely exhausted.
Make sure to like us on Facebook and check out all of our content on median.emerson.edu and YouTube! We have a ton of stuff going only online, so don't miss out!
There's a Doctor Who Joke in Fast Forward Rewind
But we won't tell you what episode it's in...
Check out Fast Forward Rewind live on the Emerson Channel at 6:00pm Monday, August 27th to Friday, August 31st!
