Featuring: psychics, outlaws, Companions, two kidnappings, both of which end surprisingly well, a hot butch mechanic, a new god and his chief disciple, a couple of cowboys out on the range, and some present-day comic con dads.

Lan Qiren doesn't understand the appeal of rabbits. He starts to visit them, just to see what all the fuss is about (definitely not because he likes them) and becomes "dad who did not want a cat" but with the Cloud Recesses bunnies.

If anyone's looking for an amazing series rewrite, go check out the "Everybody Lives" AU from @chasertiff It's the only fic I follow/ get emails about since I typically stick to completed stories but this series really captures the characters so perfectly.

Okay so I've just heard of "The Sacrifices Arc" for the first time and apparently it's like the longest fanfic for HP? And he has a twin named Conner and all kinds of stuff? I'm all about longass fics but can I get some reviews? Have any of y'all read it?

Alright I've finished so here is my review: The only point of view is Marlene's, which some people (usually me) won't enjoy but I honestly found it refreshing. You were able to see Marauder and Jily drama without rehashing the same major plot points that most first-war stories get stuck on. I also just really enjoyed the characterization of Marlene, Sirius, and Regulus particularly. The violence/war is fairly nicely done, in my opinion. Marlene does watch someone die (won't tell you who) which I definitely wasn't expecting and everyone seemed to get over it a little too quickly but for the most part the action sequences were written fairly well. There was also a very nice amount of buildup to the major climax at the end but there were enough hints that I was trying to work it out for myself. The author does have some grammar issues, which she admits. "Seen" instead of "saw" and "rather" instead of "whether" drove me the craziest but it wasn't enough to take me out of the story. In all, I enjoyed this story and will definitely be reading the sequel next. 7/10

Okay so a few warnings: 1. I'm not even halfway through this fic so I could be totally wrong. 2. It's Blackinnon-focused so if you're a big Wolfstar fan this probably isn't for you. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I'm reallyyyy enjoying this fic. It's very well-written and I love that it's solely from Marlene's point of view so there's a lot of other things (like the Jily buildup or the full moons) that are only hinted at like clues for the readers. I've also noticed that most fics that feature Marlene have her as someone with a lot of older brothers which is the case here as well. However, I feel like the way this author writes the character and sets up their family dynamic stands out from a lot of other (equally great) fics I've seen. I'll probably rec this again when I finish it with a better review and a score out of 10 but I wanted to go ahead and share a few thoughts.

The Speed of Objects in Motion made me cry a lot.
