Don’t think I’ve posted Fetch on here yet…my shameless self insert ow oc except not exactly but also yeahhhh
More about them below. Because idk how to summarize anything.
From scavenger to traveling medic to the queen’s errand boy and an accessory to crime—Shoshana ‘Fetch’ Cherney has certainly gotten around a lot in life. Following her completely accidental betrayal of the queen (HOW, exactly, was she supposed to know that the two shady guys were digging an entrance into Dezs treasure room? Or that the masked figures were actually the notorious Junkrat and Roadhog? It was dark, okay?!) Fetch leaves the only home she’s ever known to flee with her (accidental) co-conspirators.
Despite being utterly fascinated with it, she quickly learns that there is a *lot* about life outside of the Wastelands that she knows nothing about. It doesn’t help that she’s sticking with Junkrat and Roadhog to occasionally patch them up—a life on the run doesn’t leave much time for learning your surroundings.
To make matters worse, the first time she comes close to actually befriending someone her companions end up stealing a ‘priceless artifact’. Whatever THAT means… Fetch does her best to retrieve and return it…but ends up mixing up their old junk with the old junk in her bag and robbing them *again*. The archaeologist, one Sloan ‘Venture’ Cameron, now assumes she’s some sort of notorious thief. She’s doing her best to clear the air every time they cross paths…and to make sure nothing else gets stolen. again. or broken. again. Fetch slowly realizes they’re just as hardheaded as she is and begins to revel in their altercations, finally enjoying herself.
Eventually, the two end up having to work together after Fetch gets captured and brought in by Overwatch. Similarly to Cass, she’s brought in and given the ultimatum of joining Overwatch or going to prison. The choice seems obvious and luckily for her it’s just a week before they bring in a handful of specialists from around the world…including Venture. Due to the influx of new members, the two are chosen to room together, with Sloan now willing to (attempt to) let bygones be bygones while Fetch is annoyed by how stubborn they’ve been. It’s up to them to figure out how to get along, learning more about each other along the way and eventually becoming friends.
