I swallow the Sun in my dreams.

With every sunset I devour it’s warmth.

Perhaps it tastes like the affection

of someone I dearly miss.

Or the sun is attracted 

to it’s extinguished destiny.

It’s the fate of an errant fang

to be so full of light

Imprisoned, but still sane,

Wisdom to give and people to save.

Taken, held and bound by chain,

Taken away and told to behave.

What is behaviour but emotion? Anger like rain,

Able to send out a message to engrave,

A representative of those who took blame

For crimes they could not waive,

A controller of anger, not to feign

Control, but to embody what it gave.

Is Digory too old for stories? No, he shouldn’t be. He did tell me he’d always love my stories. …then again he was eight when he told me that. But my boy hasn’t grown up so much hasn’t he? …well I suppose he has. Mabel, your boy is nearly fourteen! I suppose I should be calling him “my man” now. Oh no! No-no-no, he can’t be a man yet, can he? Oh well. Maybe “my man” would still like stories. John still likes stories, after all. 

-knocks on Digory’s bedroom door, then opens it. Smiles upon seeing him smiling- 

Their tongues worked busily to free their pups of the congealed fluid sack that protected the pups' bodies for two months while in Liulfr's womb. 

Once all the pups could breathe on their own, ate their dinner, and fell asleep on Liulfr's stomach, the mother just smiled sleepily, content.
