Today we visited Fenis Castleāa perfect outing on a rainy day.

I have been moody since this morning, there's no particular reason other than the fact that I am quite tired and today I had to waste my whole afternoon due to family reasons that could have been avoided. Anyway I am almost finished with the editing of the second chapter of my thesis, which is good. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be done with it, so that by the end of the week I'll start working on fixing the last chapter.

Finished updating my travel journal
Continued working on what hopefully will be the final version of the second chapter of my thesis

Fenis Castle
Fenis Castle is located in the town of Fenis, Italy. The medieval castle was built on a small knoll in the Aosta Valley in the 14th century. Although designed as a defensive structure with towers and battlement walls, the prestigious residence was built for the Challant family. Many towers were added to the existing turret in the 14th century or early 15th century. In 1716, the castle was sold to Count Baldassarre Castellar of Saluzzo Paesena. The pentagonal-designed castle went through a decline in function and was turned into a rural dwelling with the ground floor serving as stables. In 1895, it was purchased by Alfredo dāAndrade, who began to restore the structure. Today, the castle is owned by the Regional Council and serves as a museum. The castle has a fully painted inner courtyard with a semi-round staircase where the fresco of Saint George killing the dragon is painted. A walkway links the watchtowers. The interior boasts a weapons room, a refectory for soldiers and servants, a chapel, representation rooms, kitchens, wooden balconies, frescoes, paintings, cartouches with proverbs and moral quotes, and more.Ā
TheĀ āRā key on my keyboard is half-broken, so sometimes when I hit it, I donāt get theĀ āRā that I was hoping for. This is especially true if theĀ āRā is in the middle of a word and Iām not tapping the key as hard.Ā
Guess whose name I type like 255452 times a day and which has anĀ āRā in the middle.Ā
TLDR: if anyone notices in my writing that I have writtenĀ āFenisā instead of āFenrisā, PLEASE TELL ME SO I CAN FIX IT AND YEET MYSELF INTO AN EARLY GRAVEĀ
