I’ve decided to extend the next Neverfell comic, so it may actually be a while yet before I post it. ^^; So here’s something to think about in the meantime~
I figured that, if Oscar’s gonna come to Beacon, he’s gonna need a team. I didn’t like the idea of making up OC’s for such an important role, and I wasn’t too keen on randomly cobbling together any available teens from the canon either...I wanted him to have partners like himself: relatively unexplored characters I could place into a new, fresh story, without any strings attached.
And eventually, I found some...although they weren’t exactly ‘available’, so I made them available. ^^ I also disguised them a bit...there’s a reason for this. But before I explain this ‘side story’ in the AU, I wanna give you guys a chance to figure out who these characters are. I tried to leave in some recognizable elements from their original designs, so between their looks and their fake names, I think you should have enough clues~

Faolan: Origins. Slotted a headcanon in here; Distant Blue wolves knew how to attach hair to themselves as beards, generally using horse hair, but it wasn't until sometime later that they figured out how to braid it. Hence why Fengo has a sad little chin wisp.

Margo and Fen marrying to appease her dad about staying with the High King and then falling in love for real, anyone?
The boys are back! After cancelling their Wild Life festival held in June with fellow UK-mates Rudimental they took to instagram to let us know the purpose was to give their third album a proper commitment. Today, they finally let us to hear the fruits of their labor.
They took to social media again to break the terrific news: “Sorry it’s been a while – we have been missing you all immensely, so we wanted to share with you something we’ve been working on now the sun is shining and the trees are green. A few months ago, we stumbled across an amazing female vocalist named Fatoumata Diawara. While digging through her discography we discovered this beautiful sample and started messing around, having fun and experimenting with it. The result is our new song, ‘Ultimatum.’”
If this song is any indication of what’s to come from their next album, which I hope will be dropping soon, then we can expect another stellar track list of sensational songs to get lost to. The vibes of this song desperately makes me want Tom Misch to open for them on their next tour.

Fengo and Stormfast give me so many feels. I could have gone for something sweet, but I wanted to focus on the cosmic horror being a gyre soul was presented as in the books. FengoFast is a darn good ship, though.
