Hiii looks like a master’s dart moth, Feltia herilis :)

Working the night shift tonight, found this moth on the wall outside the building. Looks to be a dingy cutworm, Feltia jaculifera.

This Dart Moth (Feltia/Xestia spp, I didn’t look long enough to ID) was very happy feeding on the goldenrod flowers. There are nectaring moths found almost year round if you know how to look. Next time you’re out at dusk, look at a large patch of flowers and see which pollinators are active. Was a nice ride out this afternoon - getting back in the saddle after a terrible week following The Avenger Tri. Stomach aches mid race - 2 days of vomiting and a swollen knee has had me taking time to recover.
