Who’s Sick of saying they feel ill? 🖐🖖🖐 . . Today I have yet another headache .. today I feel worn out .. today I just feel rough ... and this bores me even saying or thinking it ... my spleen is knackered so my immune system is low - my organs and bowel don’t work properly - never take your health for granted because it can all change over night .. I remember the days when I d struggle to even think when I had been to the doctors in the last 5 years other than a birth of a child - then at 28 things started to change and here we are now ... at 45 11/12ths knackered half the time - and over doing the rest of the time when I feel well - before I fall ill again.. . . People have said I m not really ill - or laughingly called me sick note ( yeah because it’s funny to be so ill you mess yourself and can’t do anything about it !!) . . There are so many illnesses and disabilities you can’t see - don’t judge - have empathy. This lyric keeps playing in my head...am I 30 or am I 70? Trying to get out of this mental funk but man...it’s hard. . . . I was never an athletic person by any stretch of the word, but I COULD run, I COULD play a sport, I COULD work a normal day and not feel like I have the flu body aches by 6pm... Does this change? Does it get better? I get it’s an unknown but Fuck..how am I going to do this everyday for the next 40 years. Am I to float thru life just trying to get as much done in a day as I can until I finally get to crawl back in my bed? . . I am still hopeful even through the haze of negative thoughts, fears, crying, apologizing, pain, exhaustion, pissed TF off times...without any hope what’s the point? . . I know there are many things I can do to help, and I am trying to be healthier, but just a normal day of work and having a 5 yo at home is exhausting.
