I'm learning a valuable lesson about deciding on a final trim size _before_ getting very deep into setting the page layout...

A handful of queer characters from my fantasy xenofiction novel, Featherlight, which is still a work in progress, but can be read on Pillowfort, Royal Road, Sheezy.Art, and FurAffinity. (Pillowfort has the most chapters up right now, but you need an account to read them. I'm slowly posting chapters to the other 3 sites once a month to give me more time to revise and edit)

The Featherlight quick-start guide is now available on itch.io! I got some feedback that jumping straight into the full rulebook can feel intimidating (and hard to know if it's "worth it" beforehand), so I created a one-page guide to the core rules and mechanics of the system.

The guide gives you enough information to understand the fundamentals of Featherlight--and even play a game if you are so moved!--with basically an 'at a glance' overview.

If you read this and are excited to learn more check out the full rulebook! It includes nice graphics, expanded descriptions, and tips for people interested in GMing a Featherlight game. 

Even if it is great here in italy, but I am unable to work-out here and I have no distractions. My family eats out almost daily, but here we only have pizza or pasta and if I don't take either and I take, for example, a salad, my family will think I am on a diet. The only thing I can do to not become pig is walk 15k/day and prayxx

I am not the most frequent poster but Featherlight development is still going strong!! I've just finished combining the core rulebook and both setting documents into a single "definitive edition" of Featherlight and am super stoked on the results.

Art commissioning is ongoing and super cool; I'll announce the artists after confirming with them how/whether they'd like to be tagged.

I'll also try to post more regularly in the meantime!

also me: but what if illuga, because of being deeply in love and therefore very finely tuned in to understanding the layers of flins' behavior, can tell when he flirts jokingly and when he does so seriously. not that he ever saw him flirt with someone seriously... until he did. and it wrecked illuga's heart

maybe he convinced himself that flins isn't interested in getting close to anyone, so he'll just keep his feelings to himself to respect that boundary. a boundary that, turns out, he completely made up and it was just crossed in front of his eyes
