what if breeds of dogs, rather puppies, are a common trait? since ko is canonically a were-puppy? like... one could be a shivery chihuahua or another could be a collie? i think the fear guard would fit? also a fear of noises being a scared puppy fits a lot.
OHH!! I actually really like the fear guard having their base-forms be dogs!! Though I don’t know how many of them would still have traits of them. We haven’t really figured out how developed they are.
What if over time each of the fear guards... well... face their fears? Like... Auto is so clingy he might drive others away and end up alone often regardless. (self fulfilling prophesy strikes again) But maybe fusing with TKO could introduce an idea: that rather than being alone... He still has himself. With that, he could grow from being hopelessly clingy to more independent and Autonomous. He'll still get lonely very easy, but he'll be more equipped than before.
Yes!! That’s actually how I was thinking T.K.O. would deal with merging with him! He’s a bunch of emotions and traits mixed together, so he’s never really alone.
Now that I’m thinking about it, they’re all pretty easy fears to face, aren’t they? (At least in terms of coming into context with them.)
