Originally I was under the assumption Corrin was just albino, but looking at them closer, not only do they seem to get their red eyes from Mikoto, but their hair not the pure white option, which can be seen with comparison to characters like Niles; rather it’s more of a platinum blonde. So despite looking albino, they actually aren’t, or at least that’s how I understand their situation. I may be overthinking though

So then, how exactly does black and blue hair create platinum blonde?

You could say it’s recessive genes on Mikoto’s side, but the only other hair color we see on her relatives is an even lighter blue color, which is still far from blonde

I mean maybe like I said I’m just overthinking it and Corrin is really just meant to be albino, and I know the Hoshido siblings all have different hair colors too, but I’ve been thinking about it and it bothers me
