How to hide politics from your Facebook Newsfeed
Want to hide posts about Donald Trump, or other political figures, or politics in general?
Election season is here, and the newsfeed is filling up with stories about politics, so I thought I would do an info post that explains how you can use FB Purity's "Text Filter" function, that lets you hide such posts. 1) Add FB Purity via http://fbpurity.com
2) Open the FB Purity options screen, by clicking the FBP link in the top nav bar.
3) Enter the relevant trigger words/phrases that you don’t wish to see mentioned in your newsfeed, into FB Purity’s “Text Filter” box
4) Click the “Save and Close” button
Thats it! No more politics (or any other subject you are not interested in seeing) in your newsfeed.
