#faze lacy

After i got off stream i noticed i got a dm from someone on instagram, ive been friends with some off the faze members for a while now since ron was my brother and since i started streaming. i open instagram to see adapt texted me.

adapt: hey i was wondering if you wanted to go to a near by cafe one of these days if your not busy?

i’ve always thought alex was very attractive but thought i didn’t have a chance since he’s one of my brother closest friends. i decided to ignore my brothers words about not getting near his friends, i then answered .

y/n: hey! of course i’d love to, just tell me when and i’ll make sure im free.

adapt: i was thinking wednesday? i know your ron would go crazy if he found out about this so can this be between us?

y/n: yes wednesday is perfect! and of course i know ron he’ll freak.

adapt: great i’ll see you Wednesday!

i soon turn my phone off and get ready for bed, thinking about alex and our date.

on wednesday i decided to text alex to make sure we are still on for the date

y/n: hey alex are we still good for today?

adapt: hey y/n! yea i’m almost done getting ready i’ll pick you up at 2?

y/n: yes okay that’s perfect! see you then.

i try to get ready as fast as i can but still look good. i soon get a text from alex saying tht he’s outside.

when i go outside of my apartment i see him waiting for me leaned on his car door. i go up to him and give him a hug and a kiss on his cheek

y/n: hey alex you look very nice.

adapt: thanks you look very beautiful too.

i smile at him and then he opens the passenger door for me. once we’re in the car we start talking about streaming and how everything’s going. when we get to the cafe he opens the door for me , once we’re get inside we start ordering and talking . i open my phone and see that ron texted me.

ron: Y/N WHY ARE YOU WITH ADAPT RIGHT NOW?

y/n: what?

ron: YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT

y/n: uhm well i happened to crash into him at the same cafe

ron: i just saw a picture of you guys getting out the same car, don’t like to me y/n.

y/n: alright alright we came to the cafe together

i look up at alex and tell him what happened

y/n: alex ron somehow found out we came together and is super mad at me.

alex: oh shit, i mean you still want to be here?

y/n: honestly yes but your not kinda scared of ron?

i say slightly laughing, alex shakes his head laughing. we continue with our date ignoring everyone else and soon leave the cafe and go to the mall. after a few hours alex takes me home and i ask him to stay the night. we end our night together watching movies and cuddling.

(yes i made adapt an omega, yes ik ron or jason would make more sense, yes it would've also made more sense for there to be no omegas in faze rather than no women in faze, but this is my au so fuck off)

global gender distribution:

48% Beta, 24% Omega, 28% Alpha. 3% of all Alphas are female, 1.6% of all Omegas are male.

biology:

female alpha's have both genetalia, but no female reproductive internal organs. the vaginal hole in their vulva is about 4 inches deep and then just stops. Male omegas have both genetalia but no balls. They can carry children, though they have more difficult/risky pregnancies. On the topic of periods, they usually occur about 15 days after each heat for both male and female omegas, periods are not monthly. There is a general 13% chance of impregnation outside of a heat.

gender discrimination:

omegas are generally treated like women are irl, honestly maybe even a little better. Betas are often either centered or ignored, beta women fight not to be seen as extensions of omega women and male betas fight to posture as alphas a lot of the time. secondary gender isn't the biggest deal in the world but it is part of identity, like gender is irl. you don't ask a person their secgen when you meet them typically, but if you do it's not a social faux paus unless you're at a rich person event or in front of a large crowd. it's just kind of...a thing. iykyk.

packs!!!:

there are two kinds. family packs are the ones you're born into or create through mating and having kids, often you live with extended family and even some family friends in one large house with a communal nest. found packs are just your really really close friend group, these have only just grown popular in the last century or so, and they require pack bites. you have to be seriously close w someone to offer/want a pack bite. in this au, a lot of older faze members that are still around are pack-bonded, but it only happened in the last couple of years. You can be pack bonded with loads of people without being all in a group pack, pack bonds are not the same as being in a pack. Pack's generally have a leader, a group alpha and a group omega. Alpha does not equal leader all the time, though generally they are the same. Sometimes friend groups will fall into a pack-like dynamic without acknowledging it.

scent and instinct suppressants:

mild suppressants are easily accessible to stop heats/ruts, daily ones are also able to be prescribed for hormonal imbalances and also people w long term jobs and shit that require them to not get heats/ruts. ofc there's also the typical illegal ones to help hide ur gender and all that.

scent patches are common use. the daily use ones don't fully cut off your scent, just mute it so things like emotions and shit aren't discernible and you don't stink up a room. it's just polite to wear one especially in crowded areas, though most people don't wear one at home. strong scent patches are only used again, on long term or sensitive jobs, or illegally.

cycles (heats/ruts):

cycles start becoming sexual around 16-20 years old, and they're not mindless mating cycles. It's kinda like bass-boosted ovulation, where you're unreasonably horny to the point consent given during this time isn't legally consent, but you can still think mostly clearly. Non-sexual cycles are still possibly after this time, particularly if you don't have/are not looking for a partner. Physical contact is pretty important during cycles. Heats and ruts are both around 3-5 days long.

scenting:

regarded like kissing. the longer the scenting the weirder it is to do in public/on camera, but friends tend to do short scentings as greetings kinda like a cheek kiss (alphas cannot do it to scent-marked/bonded omegas, and alphas also don't tend to do it to each other in public).

nesting:

Omegas usually have permanent nests, but some make some just for heats. Betas also nest, though it's not as innate or crucial for them. Omega's are very territorial of nests, some will not let their partners in, even for heats. Some get jittery of the idea of people even seeing their nest. Despite that, most nests are comprised entirely of gifted/passed down blankets and scented clothing of loved ones.

dens:

Alphas like/need to have their own dedicated space, usually a bedroom. Unlike nests, pack members are usually welcome inside, and Alphas actually want their omega partners to feel comfortable and be in there with them. entering a den without explicit permission is also no-no.

alpha/omega voice:

it takes a little conscious effort to resist an alpha or omega voice if you are the opposite gender or a beta. alpha voice is often thrown around in fights w each other though. Resisting a voice gives headaches. The closer you are to the person the harder it is to resist, and if it's something you subconsciously want, it's almost impossible.

queerness:

The "straight" pairings are alpha-omega and beta-beta. beta-omega and beta-alpha are also considered normal and common but not traditional. omega-omega and alpha-alpha are the "gay/lesbian" pairings, and are regarded much the same way lgbtq+ relationships are irl. primary gender preference doesn't matter in terms of queerness, though male alphas tend to have a preference for women because most omegas are women, and vice versa for female omegas. it's 'odd' but not frowned upon to be with someone of the same primary gender if you're an alpha or omega (bc it usually means you're with a beta).

institutional differences:

governments provide 'gendered help services' which are essentially taxpayer funded courtesans, who help alphas and omegas let out their instincts with professionals if they aren't in a pack or relationship (can be sexual or non-sexual. you can use it from ages 14+).

family's are less nuclear/traditional bc packs exist, this means houses tend to have more rooms and bedrooms are more separated from the rest of the space (so guests dont invade territory), some bedrooms also have specific alcoves for nesting.

PTO doesn't need to be used for heat/rut leave and heat/rut assistance leave. it's a separate leave that is mandatorily granted to the employee. there is a limit of 3 heat/rut assistance leave periods a year though.

Faze as an org:

doesn't hire women. weird gimmick but okay, they literally have an omega, thats basically the same as a woman (in this universe)??? don't question it mfs.

My relationships in the past have been difficult for me and my mental health but everything has changed ever since i met Alex. Me and alex have been talking for a few months now, since we met at a streamer event and have mutual friends. i’ve had strong feelings for him for a while and noticed he would flirt here and there. Today we planned to hang out later today.

y/n: hii alex are we still on for later?

adapt:yess! i can’t wait to see you, ive missed youu

y/n: me too! anyways ima go get readyy

adapt: okayy see you later pretty

soon after i got ready i waited till alex got here to pick me up. when i heard my doorbell ring i knew it was alex and instantly got up to open it, i was shocked to see a big bouquet right in my face.

y/n: oh my goodness alex! these are beautiful.

i say looking up at him and making eye contact.

adapt: these are for you pretty lady

y/n: thank you so much

i snap a picture to post later, we head out and start driving to a outside mall near the beach. me and alex talk while shopping for a while until he tells me that he wants to go to the beach, i agree and we start walking to the beach. while walking i see a nice picnic setup.

adapt: i may have setup something for you

y/n: are you serious alex! this is so beautiful, i love it

adapt: i hope you do! i worked pretty hard

y/n: of course it’s so cute

after a while of eating and enjoying the view he tells me he has another surprise. he pulls out a basket, another bouquet, and a little canvas that says “can i be your boyfriend” i read it and loudly gasp.

y/n: of course oh my gosh

adapt: i was hoping you would say yes, i’ve been meaning to tell u for a while but i never got the chance

y/n: i love this so much and thank you for making it so special

adapt: of course you deserve it!
