“I also become a little fixated on his eyelashes, which ordinarily you don’t notice much because they’re so blonde. But up close, in the sunlight slanting in from the window, they’re a light golden colour and so long I don’t see how they keep from getting all tangled up when he blinks.” (cf 195)
“You haven’t said what you mean to give me for my name day. Maybe I should give you something instead, would you like that?” “If it please you, my lord,” Sansa said. When he smiled, she knew he was mocking her. “Your brother is a traitor too, you know.” He turned Septa Mordane’s head back around. “I remember your brother from Winterfell. My dog called him the lord of the wooden sword. Didn’t you, dog?” “Did I?” the Hound replied. “I don’t recall.” Joffrey gave a petulant shrug. “Your brother defeated my uncle Jaime. My mother says it was treachery and deceit. She wept when she heard. Women are all weak, even her, though she pretends she isn’t. She says we need to stay in King’s Landing in case my other uncles attack, but I don’t care. After my name day feast, I’m going to raise a host and kill your brother myself. That’s what I’ll give you, Lady Sansa. Your brother’s head.” A kind of madness took over her then, and she heard herself say, “Maybe my brother will give me your head.”
A Game of Thrones- Chapter 67 (George R. R. Martin)
“I fell in love with you, smartass, because you were one of us—because you weren’t afraid of me, and you decided to end your spectacular victory by throwing that piece of bone at Amarantha like a javelin. I felt Cassian’s spirit beside me in that moment, and could have sworn I heard him say, ‘If you don’t marry her, you stupid prick, I will.”
"I'm not asking you to choose me. I'm asking you to choose us."
I think that's my favourite line from yesterday's episode simply because he knows how amazing they are. How amazing their love is. He is so secure in it. It's a pure soulmates line and it's why I love Robron so much.
I don't want to let them consume me again like they did in their first run, but it’s getting more and more difficult to not do it. I have a family now and I'm trying to write a novel and juggling running a bookstagram account with lots of reviews needing writing over the next few months. I can’t let it consume me but I fear I don't have a choice. I love them so so much.

Day 27: JOMPBPC: Favourite Quote
I didn't know what to do for this prompt, so I took a photo of this incredible graphic novel that I loved reading 2020! 💙
Andor Appreciation Week
Day 6: Favourite quote
"It's easier to hide behind forty atrocities than a single incident." - Nemik
Truer words have never been spoken. I've often wondered why people, institutions and systems that are routinely cruel, unfeeling, and uncaring are given the benefit of the doubt and considered normal, acceptable elements of society, but those who are victimised by their actions will have their smallest slip-ups shouted from the rooftops to make it seem like they're no saints either. Reading this quote on @hegodamask's post for Day 6 suddenly put everything into perspective. A terrible person does one good thing and we cut them some slack. A good person makes one mistake and they're tainted for good.
