It’s Padme Week!
She looks so pretty here! It reminds me of this much older panel of Leia that I have referenced several times. Same angle, same eyebrow, same middle part, same lipstick. Coincidentally, in both of these panels, Padme and Leia are dealing with anti-intellectual girlboss villains.
Her line here is rich with dramatic irony, as Padme has always been the doomed heroine of a storyline set in the past, and the truth of her own life was obscured from even her own children. It’s just so tragic!!!
