Jason never liked his birthday. During his childhood it wasn't celebrated. Or barely anyways. Reasons why he didn't like It today? 1: he assumed people forgot it. 2. He assumed people didn't care. 3. He was used to it.

So he started his day like usual, getting up, going to kiss your chee- ...But you weren't there. Not next to him "Babe?" He called out, frowning, his anxiety welling up inside of him as he got up. Your clothes were taken, your part of the bed already done. "Sweetheart?" He called out as he stepped around the apartment, only finding a note:

Groceries? Why didn't you just wake him up so he could get it? Well at least there's breakfast...but what he didn't think of you were at the manner, planning a big surprise for him. Well- try keeping it small with Dick Grayson...

{At the manor}

"I say the lights are there!" Tim argued with Damian "No, Drake, obviously that fits better over there. You need glasses"

Again drama, while in the kitchen Alfred was making Jason's favorite desserts and food, the old man was happy Jason would finally for the first time have a proper celebration. After all he's got a soft spot for him...

In the meantime you, Cassandra, Stephanie and Barbara were looking to pack in the presents. "What did you get Jason?" Barbara asked Cassandra and she showed a simple photo of him on his motorcycle, everyone of the girls smiled. While she was quiet, Cassandra, she always payed attention to detail. "And you?" Stephanie asked Barbara and she showed a gadget she upgraded with Tim's help. "I bought a leather jacket with ten pockets!" Stephanie exclaimed with excitement and they all giggled, already picturing Jason's raised eyebrow.

Meanwhile you..you had gotten Jason the biggest surprise yet. One you couldn't pack in.

And Dick? Dick went all out with shopping: he made friendship bracelets more as a joke which would get him an annoying grunt of Jason.

Bruce? The old man..got Jason a limited edition of his favorite book: pride & prejudice and a gift card to his favorite book café.

Eventually it was your gift. It was wrapped in a bow in a card box with holes. "What's this now huh?" He glanced at you, you just smiled "Open it. Happy birthday baby" he raised an eyebrow but opened it slowly, only for...a puppy to jump out and licking his face. He looked surprised and smiled eventually "jesus Christ. You got me a pup?" He smiles at you "Look inside." You say and inside there are two keys, matching hearts. "It's for you, you can move in with me if you'd like too."

"gosh...yes baby. I don't want anything more" he hugs and kisses you.
