Oh; how boring were the days that Elizabeth had nothing to do. No studies, no lessons, and when not even her usual games seemed to hold her interest. Boring, boring, boring. She'd expected sneaking out to visit Ciel would be at least a little more interesting. Much to her misfortune, he wasn't even home. The estate's gardener had to explain that he went out for--something. She stopped listening once she was told her wasn't around.
There was nothing more she could do but wait. At least it was a relatively nice day. There was a wall surrounding the garden that caught her attention; covered in vines, and perfect for climbing. The young lady did just that. Thankful that she had worn flat shoes, she used the vines as rope and parked herself up on a spot at the top of the wall. Fondly, Lizzie overlooked the familiar estate. It was quite beautiful. Peaceful; serene.
Until she heard an approaching carriage, and curiosity caught her attention. She watched it approach, getting larger until it stopped just outside the gates. Out stepped a blond boy, adorning noble attire.
Oh, he looked familiar.
"Hello!" Elizabeth called out, legs idly swinging as they overhung the wall.
"If you're looking for Ciel, he's away at the present moment.
I'll be waiting for him, so if you'd like for me to pass along a message, I will!"
